Welcome to TITANGO: Belfast Tango Festival 2012! We are launching our first full festival exactly 100 years after the Titanic left Belfast (she was fine when she left here!) The Festival is a Belfast Argentine Tango Society event and will take place on 22, 23 and 24 June 2012 at the Crescent Arts Centre, a newly refurbished dance venue at the heart of Belfast’s vibrant University Quarter. Our programme includes 19 workshops at all levels, top international maestros and a range of free activities including the TITANGO Cafe, Tai Chi for Tangueros, Irish Set Dancing and more! The Festival will gather dancers from all corners of Ireland as well as from the UK and further afield. Wherever you're travelling from, a warm Irish welcome awaits you! This year we are delighted to bring you a mix of salon, nuevo and milonguero styles with our fantastic international artists: Fabian Peralta and Josefina Bermudez Avila; Enrique Ringa and Marion Krauthaker; and Marcelo Ramer and Selva Mastroti!
