Jenny Frances and Ricardo Oria

Since 2002 Jenny and Ricardo have developed an international reputation for teaching and dancing in Europe and America, and at the most prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires.

Their inspiring performances display an intensity of connection and express both the profound and the playful aspects of tango. In their teaching they bring a wealth of experience and an ability to combine detailed technique with a relaxed manner of presentation and explanation. They are based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Maja Petrovic and Marko Miljevic

Maja and Marko are a young couple who started to dance tango in 2002. Their dance is influenced by a younger generation of Argentine artists and they mix all these great influences into a style of their own which can be described as relaxed, fluent, comfortable, and fun.

Maja (Croatia) has been performing with Marko since 2011 and her star is rapidly rising. She impresses in her movements; soft and elegant, playful and unique. Maja is also involved in collecting and exploring tango music which she shares with other dancers as a DJ.

Marko (Croatia) was very active in developing the tango scene in Zagreb and has been teaching for the last few years. Together with Maja he has performed in many major festivals and milongas all over Europe. Within a year he and Maja became famous for their dynamic, flexible, and playful style.

Marcelo Ramer and Selva Mastroti 

Marcelo and Selva were a such a hit at last year's Festival that we've asked them to join us again for our second edition!

Both Marcelo and Selva have trained in dance from a very young age: Marcelo in traditional folk dance and Selva in classical ballet. Since meeting in the province of Cordoba, Argentina in 2001 they have dedicated themselves completely to tango - moving to Buenos Aires to take classes with some of the best tango teachers.

In 2005 they moved to Barcelona and have since performed in countries across Europe including Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, England, Germany, and Algeria. In 2009 they were invited to be part of the tango company "Tango Express" and they have also performed to great acclaim in the "Tango Metropolis" show.

They are invited to give workshops and performances in tango festivals worldwide such the Hamburg International Tango Festival, the Torino Anima Tango Festival, and most recently in Europe’s largest festival in Mallorca.
